True Color Presentation
True Color presentation is a special display mode which merges different images taken at different
spectrums into one picture. This procedure can be used to provide simple cloud classification during daytime.
The presentation merges two images taken in IR and VIS channel on separate layers of the composed
image. Color pictures are displayed over a monitor using three layers (channels): Red, Green and Blue.
Using True Color Presentation, the IR picture is loaded on the Blue channel and the VIS picture is loaded on
both Red and Green channel.
Image composition of spectrums happens automatically when this type of presentation is selected. Selection of this enhancement is done by navigating to “image” and then choosing “Composition”, “Rgb”, and “Natural Enhanced”.
It shall be noticed that True Color presentation can be done only on images created specially for this type of presentation. Preparation of True Color images requires modification to the Post Processing Schedule (see also the relative section for further details).
It is also possible to create other Compositions using the RGB spectrum, for example, Airmass
Further examples and details regarding this feature are available under Layering Multiple Enhancements
NOTE: This function may be not active on your system if the graphic card does not support True Color mode.
