Palette Settings
This option is used to save an enhancement settings for future “extra-schedule” processing.
Using a certain attribute in the post processing schedule, an image can be transformed by the extra schedule processing to JPEG, GIF or Animated GIF. To define the desired color enhancement and to include the grid in the transformed picture, apply to the picture the requested enhancement (excluding all the true color presentation: True Color, DEM and 3D) and apply the grid if requested. Finally, to save the “just made” enhancement for JPEG transformed picture, operate as follows:
- Open “satellite”
- Click the wheel for settings
- From the second flag, select Palette Colors
- To create Custom Palettes, click on the color drop at the righthand side
- Use either the slider and selector to create a custom palette or insert the RGB coordinates for a color into the feeder: You have the choice between selecting 16 colors:
- Alternately, you can choose the first and last colors from a set, and choose to “interpolate” the data, which will create a sliding scale for you: Multiple sections can be interpolated by choosing first one set by selecting the first and last square, and then selecting a second set of squares.
Up to 10 custom palettes can be saved.
Note: if the “Option > Save Palette” operation is not done, the transformed image will be in original
black/white enhancement, without any kind of superimposed grid.
